As mentioned before, a tutorial is CRUCIAL.

- It tells the player what they need to do
- They are not confused

However

- make it optional for veteran players
- don't make it too long

In the next development version (0.19) we will start working on Dima's Ship. It will be a playable meta level with some special rooms like cockpit, Junk E.T. communication, inventory, and a training room as well, where the tutorial will take place. This will also remove a lot of extra functionalities from the cockpit view, making it so it's purpose is to travel to another star and select missions.
In the future we will also add some tooltips for buttons and such, which will hopefully end most of the confusion :)
